"We are honored to be chosen as the charity benefiting from this amazing event," said Rob Max, Executive Director of Sweet Relief Musicians Fund

Sweet Relief and Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp are teaming up at the world famous Playboy Mansion to benefit career musicians who are currently unable to take the stage. On Saturday, November 12, artists such as Paul Stanley, Lita Ford, Rudy Sarzo, Chris Slade, and many other Rock legends will be performing a benefit concert to help raise money for Southern California musicians. The Southern California Musicians Fund at Sweet Relief provides assistance to career singers, musicians, songwriters and composers facing financial hardship due to illness, disability or age related problems. Career musicians who reside in Los Angeles and surrounding counties, including Orange County and San Diego, are eligible for assistance via this fund. Tickets are available online now.

"We are honored to be chosen as the charity benefiting from this amazing event," said Rob Max, Executive Director of Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. "Over the past year Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp has raised close to $100,000 on behalf of Sweet Relief’s suffering and struggling artists," he added. Donations have been used to help artists battling cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, spinal cord injuries and other difficulties by paying for medical treatment, prescriptions, housing costs, utilities and other vital living expenses.

In 1994 Sweet Relief was incorporated as a 501C3 nonprofit charity and for the past 18 years has been offering vital financial assistance to professional musical artists in need. Today nearly 65% of professional musicians don’t have health care. The prohibitive costs for medical insurance make it impossible for most musicians to afford, and Sweet Relief needs your help. People can now help artists in their geographical area by donating regionally, or choose a particular genre of music to assist a musician. Donors can also choose to help a specific musician featured in the Directed Artist Program on the website.
