What do you buy for the girl who has everything? That’s just the question that super wealthy Petra Ecclestone asked herself in advance of her sister’s birthday party before settling on booking entertainment from top London magician Noel Qualter.
Tamara Ecclestone, whose father Bernie is the owner of Formula 1 already has the £200 million house, supercars galore and more shoes than a Jimmy Choo warehouse and is used to having superstars like Rihanna entertain at her bashes.
Her 28th birthday party was held in a private room at celeb hangout restaurant Scott’s in Central London and the guest list of ten included her closest friends and family with the slightly odd twist of every moment being filmed for the fly on the wall documentary.
Petra hired table magician Noel after being impressed with his performance at the launch of One Hyde Park, the luxury residential towers for the super wealthy where prices start at 6 million for a 1 bedroom flat.
Noel performed many items from his close up magic repoirtoire during the night including one routine with Tamara's £250,000 ring. Noel said, "I've performed magic tricks with precious rings before but what if the unthinkable had happened? I'd have had to wash Tamara's fleet of supercars for a hundred lifetimes". Thankfully, he concluded the trick succesfully. Noel's closing routine was for Tamara's fiance Omar Khyami who picked any actor in the world to play him and Noel produced a framed photograph to the amazement of everybody.
Tamara said of close up magician Noel’s performance, “You are crazy skilled and funny as hell. You have made it an amazing night. You are very highly recommended “ and Noel commented, “Tamara leads a very privileged life and what is special to us is every day for her so I really pulled out all the stops to amaze her. Thankfully, I achieved my goal and Tamara said she looks forward to seeing me perform as a wedding magician at her nuptials”.
