iMustTry Restaurants iPhone app helps food lovers easily remember restaurant recommendations.

“Reviews have their place, but sometimes, we just want to try the restaurant that a friend told us about. However, recalling the restaurant name and exact location is a common problem.” said Ayesha Mascarenhas, CEO of iMustTry.

Everyone frequently gets restaurant recommendations from their friends and family. More often than not, these recommendations are forgotten, and people dine out at the same old places. iMustTry Restaurants is a new iPhone application that makes it easy to track restaurant recommendations. Designed as a to-do list for restaurants, the application uses GPS technology to find the closest restaurants from the list. Users can also filter by ‘to try’ and ‘done’.

“Reviews have their place, but sometimes, we just want to try the restaurant that a friend told us about. However, recalling the restaurant name and exact location is a common problem,” said Ayesha Mascarenhas, CEO of iMustTry. “iMustTry Restaurants is a simple way to keep track of restaurants that you want to try.”

iMustTry Restaurant’s unique value lies in its ease of use. Users only need to enter the city and  restaurant name. The restaurant address is automatically geo-located. Adding a restaurant is so easy that one can even do it in the middle of a conversation, with an option to add a note to recall specifics.

Users can share restaurants in their list with their friends on Facebook. The team is also currently working on adding a social layer that will enable users to see not only their lists, but also the lists of their friends.

iMustTry Restaurants is San Francisco-based and is founded by technology veteran Ayesha Mascarenhas. iMustTry Restaurants is currently available for download from the AppStore for 99 cents. An Android version is in the works, and will be coming shortly.
