Former Computer Forensic Examiner for the federal government and the State of Kansas, Ms. Dawn Spaulding, is launching her own business in data retrieval and defense consultation. Ms. Spaulding's services include but are not limited to data recovery services, computer virus removal and consultation to defense attorney's in cases involving computer evidence. Her knowledge and experience brings with it a high level of trust and expertise to individuals and small businesses.

She previously held 3 forensic certifications with the government in the disciplines of Windows Forensics, Cell Phone Forensics and Linux Forensics. She also held an additional forensic certification with the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists along with A+ and Network+. Ms. Spaulding was employed by the Johnson County Kansas Sheriff's Department for 17 years. Between 2003 and 2007, Ms. Spaulding was assigned as a Task Force Officer at the Heart of America Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory where she received a majority of her training from the FBI. During the last 4 years of her employment with the Sheriff's Department, she was assigned to the Investigative Division as a detective and Computer Forensic Examiner. She has completed examinations in support of hundreds of criminal cases and testified as an expert in trials and hearings in federal and state court.
