LABOTIX Automation, Inc., the leader in open automation solutions for clinical laboratories, announced the acquisition of Integrated Laboratory Automation Solutions, Inc. (iLAS) of Troy, Michigan. LABOTIX Automation has acquired iLAS including the Efficiency SeriesTM product line and hired the iLAS employees. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

We are pleased to add the iLAS technology to the existing LABOTIX product line. The acquisition enhances our position as an industry leader in open systems for laboratory automation.
