BIMStorm DC highlights the year in BIM at Ecobuild®America with new industry processes, Washington, D.C. December 5-9, 2011. This award winning building industry event is open to owners, architects, engineers, and contractors who want to be leaders in a 21st century building modeling systems. This year’s BIMStorm theme is healthcare and education. Two owners, Kaiser Permanente, one of the largest healthcare organizations in the world, and the California Community College System (CCC), the largest system of public higher education in the world, will be submitting two projects each to the BIMStorm. Los Angeles Community College will be submitting a project that is under construction and being delivered using COBie. Miracosta Community College is submitting two new building projects and the master planning study.
