TAKE THE INTERVIEW (“TTI”) and CANDEX, launched their respective companies last night at the sleek and tech-driven YOTEL. The two companies partnered to introduce their companies given the complementary nature of their services; both technology-based platforms streamline the entire recruiting and talent acquisition process in an innovative way, allowing efficient deployment of resources to save time and money, acquire the best talent and help people get jobs in an economy when the unemployment rate is spiraling.

Hosted by Danielle Weinblatt, Founder and CEO of TTI and Jeremy Lappin, Founder and CEO of Candex, guests included successful entrepreneurs, business leaders, Venture capitalists, investors, recruitment professionals, lifestyle influencers and tastemakers who celebrated to the music of Donna D’Cruz while sipping Orange V Strawberry Whiskey Sours and Orange V White Cranberry Cosmopolitans. Meanwhile, celebrity interviewers Phillip Bloch and Lauren Ezersky interviewed guests about their own interview moments from interview fashion faux pas to the varied ways a pencil is used to which reality star they identify the most with. To complete the experience, guests visited the glass cabins that emulated the Jay Leno, Jimmy Fallon, Larry King and David Letterman sets and ran videos of celebrity and business interviews.
Guests moved from the Club room to the Mission Control lounge where they experienced demos of the platforms and marveled at their simplicity and facility. Lappin noted that “the recruitment industry hasn’t changed the way it does things in decades – these innovative new platforms will revolutionize the industry by saving millions of dollars and enable the best talent to come forward.”

TTI is an innovative company that provides a cloud-based online solution that streamlines the recruiting process by allowing employers to pre-screen candidates via asynchronous (not-live) video interviews. Having soft-launched earlier this year, TTI has since, facilitated hundreds of video interviews and developed a customer acquisition strategy to position the company for its next stage of growth. TTI was founded by Danielle Weinblatt, an Arthur Rock Fellow of Entrepreneurship of Harvard Business School and former private equity professional. Weinblatt notes, “we are solving a real problem that professionals face early on in the recruiting process and are well positioned to drive new innovations for the HR industry.” Some of these innovations include the public button that can be embedded in job postings to collect video resopnses, a candidate practice platform and an upcoming mobile application. TTI was inspired by the impressive growth of online and mobile video consumption, the comfort of the Millennial generation with videotaping themselves, the ubiquity of webcams, the migration of business productivity software to mobile devices and the necessity of companies having to do more with fewer resources. “We’re a next generation software company designed to help companies recruit their next generation of candidates -younger generations are comfortable letting their personality shine through video. This is even more critical for roles in which cultural fit is truly important,” notes Weinblatt. Please see http://www.taketheinterview.com.
