...our experience allowed us to blend the inground pool design with a lush landscape to create a gorgeous natural setting...
Mahwah, NJ (PRWEB) November 10, 2011
Cipriano Custom Swimming Pools & Landscaping, a New Jersey inground pool company, received a Gold International Award of Excellence from the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) at the Pool, Spa, and Patio Expo held November 1st in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cipriano's award-winning inground pool is located in Saddle River, NJ. The 1,500 square foot inground pool features fiber optic lighting, four waterfalls, glass tile finishes, a swim-in grotto, a tube waterslide, and a lush landscape. The NJ pool was entered into the broad category of residential, free-form concrete pools 601 square-feet or more.
The freeform inground pool includes an iridescent glass tile waterline and multi colored LED pool lights, but that is only the beginning for this Saddle River pool project. Across from the patio, on the other side of the pool, an eight-foot-high waterfall structure showcases four waterfalls of varying sizes. The largest waterfall drops over the face of a swim-in grotto. The grotto, constructed of natural stone and realistic faux stone, recreates one of nature's most beautiful wonders. Concrete mixes seamlessly with the natural stone using precise coloration and detailed cracks and crevices. On the inside of the grotto, 75 fiber optic star lights and 16 fiber optic spot lights illuminate the structure in style. The grotto also includes a bench for seating and a rugged exit leading to the cabana.
While re-creating the rugged beauty of the outdoors, the inground pool also accommodates some room for recreation. Deep in the rugged cliffs behind the pool, a rugged stone staircase winds up the hill to an underground, tube waterslide. The waterslide emerges from the face of the waterfall structure in a very subtle way, thus providing a fun, exciting feature without taking anything away from the pristine natural setting. To further enhance the excitement of the inground pool, another 16 fiber optic spot lights were added to the waterfall structure. The fiber optic lights, embedded directly into the stone, uphold electrical code and produce vibrant displays of color when the sun goes down.
With a wide range of amenities, a perfect natural design, and detailed finishes, this Saddle River, NJ inground pool showcases itself as the ultimate pool and spa. "The greatest challenge of this pool was incorporating an eight-foot-high waterfall in a flat back yard. Thankfully our experience allowed us to blend the inground pool design with a lush landscape to create a gorgeous natural setting," said Chris Cipriano, President of Cipriano Custom Swimming Pools and Landscaping. This is the ninth International Award of Excellence that Cipriano has earned for the design and construction of inground pools.
