We are changing the name to reflect the evolution of what we have become.

Los Angeles’ largest women’s athletic apparel and gear retailer has changed its name. Sporteve is now Sports for Eve.
President D’Lynda Fischer opened the store in July 2006 with a vision for creating a comfortable space for women to purchase clothing, gear and accessories for their active lifestyles. Over the past five years, the store has evolved into more than just an athletic store. It has become a gathering center and learning center for women’s sports. The staff hosts weekly runs, swims and bike rides for customers. They also offer an array of athletic training programs and clinics designed just for women.
“We are changing the name to reflect the evolution of what we have become,” says Fischer. “Sports for Eve will remain a premiere shopping environment for athletic apparel that embodies a woman’s style and grace. But it’s also become a place where women discover what makes them feel beautiful, confident and powerful.”
The bright and airy 3,000 square-foot store, which is located in downtown Culver City, received a fresh new look courtesy of Seattle-based Bruce Hale Design. New signage, colors and the new logo were installed last Friday.
Fischer personally tests each and every product Sports for Eve sells and carries hard-to-find women-centric brands. In addition to carefully choosing what they sell, Fischer and her staff pride themselves on providing helpful answers to women’s questions and expertise in fitting women for sports bras, minimalist running shoes, wetsuits, swim goggles and more.
