CCA is ranked 54th on the G.I. Jobs magazine's annual list of the "Top 100 Military-Friendly Employers"® in America.

We are truly honored by this distinction. It's especially timely as CCA this week celebrates its veterans and active duty employees and employee relatives in honor of their service and sacrifices in advance of Veterans Day.

CCA, America's leader in partnership corrections, is named once again as one of the best places to work for military servicepersons transitioning from active duty. And it marks the 5th time CCA has made the G.I. Jobs magazine's annual list of the "Top 100 Military-Friendly Employers"® in America.

The G.I. Jobs magazine's annual list is considered a priceless resource for service members transitioning to civilian life and mapping out a career path. CCA is ranked 54th on the Top 100 list.

"We are truly honored by this distinction," said Brian Collins, CCA Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. "It's especially timely as CCA this week celebrates its veterans and active duty employees and employee relatives in honor of their service and sacrifices in advance of Veterans Day."

At CCA, veterans account for approximately ten percent of the company's national employee base of more than 17 thousand. CCA is further distinguished as it is the only corrections company to make the 2011 list, and is classified as a 'consistent performer' indicating the company's ranking with G.I Jobs magazine for at least three years.

"CCA is proud to offer service members returning to civilian life a lasting and fulfilling career path in security, operations, inmate rehabilitation, health services, management, human resources and more," said Collins. "Given the background veterans bring to our team, their rich exposures and unique experiences, many have found their fit with CCA."

G.I. Jobs evaluates companies according to several factors: assets dedicated to hiring military, such as job fairs, special campaigns and other efforts; Reserve/Guard policies, percentage of new veterans hired, and internal recruitment, training and promotional programs for veterans, in addition to community outreach.
