"More than just a game!"

A premier college football all-star game for decades has a new home in St. Petersburg, Florida at Tropicana Field in 2012 and a new radio team.

The 87th Annual East-West Shrine Game will be played Saturday January 21, 2012 at 4pm EST benefitting the twenty-two Shriners Hospitals for Children in the United States, Canada and Mexico. For the past 86 years, this game has proven to be the launching pad for numerous NFL players. Tom Brady, John Elway, Eddie George, Greg Jennings, Brett Favre and numerous other future stars all showcased their talents in this game. 246 former Shrine Game players are now in the NFL. 62 East-West Game alumni are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. 45 players from the 2011 game were selected in this year’s National Football League draft.

The game can also be heard on a special East-West Shrine Game Radio Channel available on well over a hundred million of smartphones worldwide from the Tunein Radio app and online at Shrinegame.com.
