Pinellas Park, FL (PRWEB) November 12, 2011
Family Resources Foundation has responded to the difficult economic climate by making it even easier and more convenient to make donations of items no longer wanted or needed by individual consumers. "We are pleased to be able to offer 30 locations throughout the metro bay area to help people continue to give back to their communities" said Jane Harper, President and CEO of Family Resources. "We have tried to make donating as convenient as possible because we know the intention is there, but the distance to drive to one location may be a barrier to many people right now".
Your donations of household goods and recycled electronics will help Family Resources Foundation provide items that many needy families on lower incomes would not otherwise be able to afford. Your donations also create jobs through thrift store employment and through electronics recycling which directly benefits not only our community but also our environment.
"These 30 convenient storage facility drop off locations in Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee and Sarasota Counties will accept your donations on our behalf and will provide a donation receipt that can be mailed to Family Resources Foundation to generate a thank you letter for tax purposes" said Amanda Converse, Development Manager for Family Resources. "Not only can you drop off your unwanted household items and clothing you can also recycle all your electronics so that this material does not end up in a landfill."
