Robust Selection of CompTIA IT Channel Training Available at COMDEXvirtual

Quick Start Sessions offer “how-to” advice on technology growth areas; CompTIA membership specials available to solution provider attendees.

Training sessions on growth opportunities for information technology (IT) channel companies will be offered by CompTIA, the non-profit association for the IT industry, during COMDEXvirtual Nov. 15-16.

CompTIA's Channel Training Center, at COMDEXvirtual, will offer a selection of "Quick Start Sessions" on fast-growing technology solutions, including cloud computing, healthcare IT, managed services and unified communications.

Other Quick Start Sessions will cover proven strategies for business success, such as how to leverage the CompTIA Security Trustmark in your business. Each training session will be followed immediately by a 30-minute question-and-answer session with the CompTIA Authorized Channel Instructor who presented the training.

The CompTIA Channel Training Center schedule at COMDEXvirtual Includes the following sessions on Tuesday, Nov. 15 (all times Eastern):

  •     12:30 p.m. – Quick Start to Managed IT Services. CompTIA Faculty: Dan Shapero, founder, ClikCloud.
  •     2:30 p.m. – Quick Start to Healthcare IT. CompTIA Faculty: Chris Johnson, chief executive officer, Untangles Solutions.
  •     3:30 p.m. – Quick Start to Unified Communications. CompTIA Faculty: Howard Cohen, senior resultant, TechChannel Partners' Results Group, Inc.

CompTIA’s Channel Training Center continues on Wednesday, Nov. 16, with the following sessions:

  •     10:30 a.m. – Quick Start to Cloud/SaaS. CompTIA Faculty: Gary Bixler, founder, Bixler Enterprises.
  •     12:30 p.m. – How to Leverage the CompTIA Security Trustmark™ in Your Business. CompTIA Faculty: Jacob Braun, president, Waka Digital Media Corporation.
  •     2:30 p.m. – Understanding Your Partner's Business: Break Points - Partner Reality. CompTIA Faculty: Larry Kesslin, president, 4-Profit, LLC.
