Where ethics meet aesthetics, http://www.Magnifeco.com has been covering ethical fashion from around the world and writing about: the latest vegan shoe, which designer is using sustainable fabrics on the catwalk, which online retailers are offering the latest styles and sustainable versions of 'on trend' pieces, for a devoted global readership (even the sponsors are ethically-minded) since 2008.

When founder and editor of the daily eco-fashion blog http://www.Magnifeco.com, Kate Black, saw ethical fashion emerging as a trend in 2008, she realized that, although ethical and sustainable designers were making efforts to clean up fashion, conscious consumers were still having trouble finding them. She started the daily eco-fashion blog to highlight those designers and promote their efforts.

Things have changed dramatically in the past three years, notes Black. Not only are consumers becoming more aware of the ethical issues within fashion’s supply chain, more and more companies are designing, producing, and selling ‘ethical fashion.’ Even celebrities (Liv Firth), models (Laura Bailey, Lily Cole) and actors (Olivia Wilde, Natalie Portman) are staring to support ethical fashion. “I’m excited that more and more people know what 'eco or ethical fashion' is,” states Black. “How consumers choose to spend their dollars can sway the industry, so it’s been fantastic contribute to consumers' growing desire to spend on ethical fashion.” What marks http://www.magnifeco.com/ as truly unique is that every post links directly back to the designer or the retailer so consumers can buy what they read.

The latest trend, Black shares, is increased readership in the Middle East. “The latest country we’ve noticed increased traffic from is Saudi Arabia,” says Kate “it's exciting to see these trends and watch which designers capitalize on emerging ethical markets.”

The future looks bright for ethical fashion, and http://www.magnifeco.com/, looks forward to continuing to support consumers in their quest for ethical fashion.
