What if interacting with salespeople were as simple as posting on Twitter? QUALTRX is taking healthcare sales online, using an innovative social media interface.

The future of healthcare sales is online. We're building it on QUALTRX.

QUALTRX, LLC, a health 2.0 social media company, announces a four-month pilot with the Department of Pharmacy at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) to improve the effectiveness of HCMC’s business relationships with their pharmaceutical vendors.

The QUALTRX pilot will connect the 100+ member Pharmacy staff with vendors from over 80 pharmaceutical companies serving HCMC. The pilot addresses a key dysfunction in our healthcare system—the high transaction cost of doing business between healthcare institutions and pharmaceutical companies. QUALTRX brings traditional face-to-face sales interactions to a digital platform, allowing both parties to save time, pre-qualify leads, identify needs and source solutions.

Using a social media interface, the QUALTRX platform offers healthcare institutions a tool to manage their vendor relationships effectively. Industry also benefits, using QUALTRX as a standard digital interface to identify key decision-makers, and tap into a continuous stream of real-time data published by healthcare professionals about patient care needs, and other institutional priorities.

“We all know there’s value in engagement,” says Bruce Thompson, Director of Pharmacy Services at HCMC, and sponsor of the pilot. “Let’s reduce the waste and remove the adversarial relationship.”

“The QUALTRX platform enables all users to better allocate their limited time and resources, so that business interactions are productive, well-documented, and transparent,” says QUALTRX Founder & CEO, Rashaun P. Sourles.

QUALTRX is a private and secure B2B web portal connecting healthcare decision-makers with pharmaceutical industry vendors.

Hennepin County Medical Center is a leading regional teaching hospital and a Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center located in downtown Minneapolis, MN.
