Michael Sammons has been named Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Tempel. He is a member of Tempel’s executive committee and reports directly to President and Chief Operating Officer Tim Taylor.
Sammons comes to Tempel from Grayhill, where he most recently served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Sammons has a variety of general management and sales and marketing experience spanning decades in leading industrial companies, with extensive experience in marketing electrical products in Europe and Asia.

Sammons holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts/Computer Science from Lake Forest College, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University of Chicago. He and his wife Pam live in Prospect Heights, Illinois, and have two children, one in college and one in high school.
