Sternberg Lighting Becomes Master Distributor for TimberWood® Products

By combining our energy-efficient UNRIVALED ™ Luminaires with TimberWood’s sustainable wood products, we’re offering yet another eco-friendly choice to municipalities, universities, lighting designers and architects across the US.

As a result of the collaboration, TimberWood® Products, a division of J.H. Baxter & Co, will provide its engineered decorative wood light poles to Sternberg Lighting for use in the development of environmentally friendly street lighting solutions.

TimberWood® poles can be FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified and are manufactured in the US with North American wood species, and subsequently may qualify for “Buy American” status. For projects seeking LEED points, specifying FSC pure wood poles may contribute to the projects overall LEED rating.
