Award-winning marine interiors firm expands capabilities

Judy Bell-Davis, Director of Bell Design Group, announces the appointment of Steve Farb to the positiion of Industrial Designer/Design Engineer. "Steve brings with him almost 20 years of experience," says Bell-Davis. "He has designed more than 60 production vessels from the waterline up." According to Bell-Davis, these models range from high-performance vessels to mass-produced runabouts to expedition yachts.

"He is a master of both digital and traditional design tools," she adds. A Pasadena, California Art Center College of Design Honors Graduate, Farb went on to work for more than 14 years at Meridian Yachts in WA State. Being a Senior Industrial Designer, Steve was responsible for 43 Bayliner, Maxum and Meridian models. Farb has also designed for Yamaha, Wellcraft/Scarab, Cigarette, Regal, Nordic Tug and Northern Marine amongst others.

"With Steve's acute sense of cost/benefit relationships and his stellar reputation for value received designs, he is a great asset to the firm,' says Bell-Davis, who offers more than thirty years experience in both production boat, charter yacht and mega yacht interiors. She has designed the interiors for notable yachts including Itasca, Bodecia and Mary P. and is a leader in light weight yacht interiors.

Both of these designers are award-winning professionals with multiple honors between them including Boat of the Year, IMTEC Innovatiion, Industrial Design Excellence Awards and others.

In addition to traditional exterior and interior design, Bell Design Group offers full CAD digital modeling and visualization services.
