AquaBlok, Ltd., manufacturer of innovative clay-based composite materials, is pleased to announce distribution agreements with Midwest Construction Products (Fort Myers, FL) and Quick Supply Co. (Des Moines, IA). The new partnerships are part of a comprehensive campaign to make AquaBlok’s patented, stone-core design more readily available to engineers, agencies, managers, contractors, and a broad range of end users for a diverse array of water sealing, geotechnical, and environmental applications.

“We see AquaBlok as having real merit in applications that range from simple fixes on backyard farm ponds all the way to a unique solution in complex engineered settings and circumstances,” says Don Thieman, Sales and Marketing Manager for Quick Supply. “AquaBlok will be useful to many of our existing clients and will likely give us the opportunity to develop new relationships. Even the most fundamental formulation is highly versatile, and we are pleased to be able to add the product line to our offering.”

Increasing availability of AquaBlok through an expanding stocking distribution network remains a priority. AquaBlok added four new companies to its distribution network in the first half of 2011 – A.S.P. Enterprises, Inc. (Fenton, MO), Brock White Company (St. Paul, MN), HD Supply Waterworks (Riviera Beach, FL), and Sunshine Supplies, Inc. (Birmingham, AL). These companies complement Aquatic Control (Seymour, IN) and EasyPro Pond Products (Grant, MI), both of which began carrying AquaBlok products as stocking distributors in 2010.

Midwest Construction Products has been distributing a full line of geotextile products, gabions, storm water chambers, and erosion and sediment control products for the last 25 years. Six strategically located offices – in Florida (Fort Myers), Illinois (Fox River Grove and Springfield), Indiana (Indianapolis, Kentucky (Louisville), Tennessee (Nashville), and Wisconsin (Milwaukee) – allow Midwest Construction Products to efficiently serve projects, large and small.

Founded in 1938 to service limestone quarries throughout the Midwest, Quick Supply has over 40 years of experience stocking and distributing a complete line of geosynthetic, erosion/sediment control, landscape and hardscape products. Its 20,000 square foot warehouse and adjacent yard house a comprehensive inventory and an extensive fleet for delivery in and around Iowa. Quick Supply is affiliated with A.S.P. Enterprises.

The addition of these distributors has expanded the local availability of AquaBlok products into Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. Conversations are ongoing with prospective distribution partners throughout the South (specifically in Georgia, Oklahoma, and Texas) as well as throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic. AquaBlok continues to seek stocking distributors nationwide.
