Hyatt Regency Cambridge Hotel Debuts a New Interactive New England Seafood Market Featuring Live Music at Zephyr on the Charles Restaurant

The Boston area luxury hotel launches contemporary jazz evenings just in time for the holiday season.

Executive Chef Robert Daugherty will soon unveil the new New England Seafood Market featuring live contemporary jazz favorites at Zephyr on the Charles, located at Hyatt Regency Cambridge. Beginning Friday, November 18th, Zephyr on the Charles waterfront restaurant will transform into a lively atmosphere of food and fun with new and interactive dining concept showcasing the best of New England’s bounty by our resident Fishmonger and Raw Bar chef.

On display for selection will be delectable hand-picked shell-fish along with an abundance of local seasonal fish straight from the Gloucester Bay day docks. Diners at the Cambridge hotel can then watch as the culinary artisans create gourmet dishes using rustic New England specialty ingredients.

The New England Seafood Market will feature the following selections:

  •     Oyster Flight Tasting with three distinct styles of oysters from the area waters featuring our signature lemon horseradish granite and classic accompaniments
  •     Freshly Steamed Gulf Shrimp in the rough tossed with Old Bay seasoning lemons and a selection of funky hot sauces
  •     Iced Little Neck Clams on the half shell with peppercorn mignonette
  •     Steamed Acadian Mussels with coconut milk and lemon grass
  •     New England Clam Chowder with Westminster Oyster Crackers
  •     Grilled Calamari Salad with Peppadew Peppers

In addition to the New England Seafood Market, diners can select from an a la carte dinner menu featuring a one and a half pound Lobster, Gloucester Bay day fish and grilled rib eye steaks.

The new décor will be reminiscent of a sea side New England Seafood Market with a chalk board featuring the fishmonger’s daily catch. The fishmonger’s theme of ‘Eat Mor Fish’ rings throughout as our culinary team delivers gracious hospitality direct to table.

The New England Seafood Market will run every Friday evening from 5:30pm to 10:00pm. The full menu is currently priced at $43.00 per person. Zephyr diners receive three-hour complimentary parking at the hotel’s garage. Located on the second level of Hyatt Regency Cambridge, Zephyr is the convenient to all corners of Cambridge and Boston with truly amazing panoramic views of the Charles River and the Boston skyline. With its easy access along Memorial Drive, Zephyr’s location fills the niche for power breakfasts, business lunches, specialty cocktails, dinner, Friday New England Seafood Market and Sunday brunch with friends and business associates.
