Estellana founder Mia Clarke loved her career in Human Resources but needed a change. She matched her business acumen gained from her MBA program, with her passion for people and her love for boutique and vintage fragrances.

"During our initial research, we found several gaps in the UK perfume market and we knew we had a winner," states Mia, "and judging by our success to date, we’re definitely servicing an untapped market - a market hungry for hard to get, luxury fragrances at affordable prices.”
Being mainly an online company, Estellana sets itself apart from the competition by providing high quality, hard to acquire perfumes from quality global brands. Combining Estellana’s almost exclusive selection with beautiful packaging, excellent customer service and fast delivery quickly proved a formula for success. "Image is really important to my business and especially the brands I represent," explains Mia, "It is important that we provide fantastic customer service and exceed expectations of all our customers. So far we’ve had amazing feedback and are quickly building an incredibly strong, repeat customer base."
Estellana currently sells rare French brands such as Hors la Monde, Romea d'Ameor, Etat Libre d'Orange and P. Frapin & Cie. Rare fragrances from further afield include New Zealand award winning solid perfumes from Pacific Perfumes. "I love the finest vintage perfumes with strong histories and rich stories the perfume tells."
Mia and her team have done extensive research to ensure that their perfumes are of high quality, not easily available in the UK and never ever discounted on the internet. Discounting the perfumes would devalue the brands, making them easily available to the mass market. Mia is now getting approached by a number of brands wanting to break into the UK market through her growing sales channel. "I can't say yes to everyone. Any brand we represent must meet certain standards."
In 2012 Estellana will offer specific, personality targeted fragrance advice through an interactive online portal which will be all the buzz in the new year,” says Mia, “We’ve been in development on this now for over 12 months, investing many thousands of pounds into the concept. I can’t go into great detail before we launch, but it’s very exciting.” Using the online portal, a client’s perfume preferences could change by the individual’s mood, season, or event. “There is a perfume for every mood and eventuality,” says Mia.
P. Frapin & Cie is the newest product to be introduced on Estellana."I love the excitement of injecting new high quality products into the mainstream market," she states. "Doing it like we have really creates a buzz in the industry and keeps our growing number of clients coming back.”
