This must-attend event will showcase the public relations and communications professionals who have set the benchmark in PR and underscore the outstanding achievements made in the past year.

PR News is thrilled to salute the winners and honorable mentions of its annual PR People, 15-to-Watch and Top Places to Work in PR awards programs at the PR People Awards Luncheon on November 30, 2011. The luncheon will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at The National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

The media personality’s keynote will highlight the potential opportunities and pitfalls of managing a personal brand. PR News will hold a Media Relations 2.0 Workshop, which will take place the morning of the PR People Awards Luncheon and a Facebook Conference the following day, December 1. The morning workshop will highlight smart tips, tools and next practices for managing and improving media relations initiatives. The full day Facebook Conference will teach public relations and communications practitioners how to rethink, reorganize and regain control of their Facebook activity and integrate it with the PR discipline’s bedrock skills. Both the workshop and the Facebook Conference will take place at The National Press Club in D.C.
