The Appliance Doctor, after being in business for over 30 years in the NYC, Westchester and Bronx area of New York, has decided to launch a new professional vent cleaning company called the Vent Docs.

The Vent Docs is the baby sister company of The Appliance Doctor, and will focus it’s services strictly on professional vent cleaning. While this is a brand new company, their services are far from elementary. The new company just made a 20k investment on top-of-the-line equipment: a vent-cleaning machine called The Roto Brush.

The Vent Docs use of The Roto Brush already puts them ahead of the competition for professional vent cleaning services in the NYC area.

“We’ve got the best equipment on the market,” said Anthony Attanasio, owner of The Appliance Doctor and now Vent Docs. “We’re very excited to see this area of our business expand.”

So what makes the Roto Brush better than the rest of the professional vent cleaning equipment out there? No handyman can do what it does.

“Vents that are easily accessible and come out of the wall can be cleaned by a handyman, but this is a high-powered vacuum with 30 foot hoses. It can reach anywhere in your home,” Attanasio said. “Our equipment is so advanced that once business picks up we will be able to expand into doing air conditioning and duct work as well.”

A professional vent cleaning is an important service to invest in, as vent fires are the cause of about 15 deaths per year. Attanasio says that depending on how often you use your clothes dyer, you should have your vents cleaned every two to three years to avoid a fire.

Safety aside, getting dryer vents cleaned out by a professional will save money on electricity bills and will delay the need for a professional appliance repair.

If your dyer isn’t heating properly or as well as it used to, chances are your dryer vents need to be cleaned. Get professional vent cleaning from the Vent Docs.
