The sales team at Briggs Auto - the leading Buick dealer in Kansas - love the new Regal and all the attention that was paid to the details. For example, designers took inspiration from nature for the new GS design - which is really hot.

The all-new 2012 Buick Regal GS is arriving at Briggs Auto Group in Kansas and elsewhere in the United States. The Regal GS for 2012 is the sportiest Regal ever, and the design and style evolved over time to get where it is today.

The Regal was already the sportiest car in the Buick lineup, but they wanted to enhance that for the new GS edition. They were striving for performance - which Buick is well known for in addition to luxury - and they have managed to achieve it with the new Regal GS.

Dave Lyon, executive director for Design at Buick, recently explained the substance behind Regal GS styling in an interview, "Regal GS’ styling is as purposeful as it is beautiful. The GS requires a lot more cooling for its brakes and powertrain than other Regal models. So, we have opened up the fascia for more air intake. Aesthetically speaking, the two vertical air intakes at the corners give the car a very dramatic signature front end, almost catlike."

The Buick Regal has always had a lot of grace, but this has been enhanced quite a bit for the new Regal GS. The lowered front and back fascias gives the new Regal a mean look that is grounded. The design also cuts down how much air goes under the car, which helps with aerodynamics.

To design the new Regal, the team spent a lot of time in Germany on the Autobahn fine-tuning the high-speed aspects of the new Regal GS. From the new aerodynamics to all the other enhancements, there is a lot that has been done.

To learn more about the new Regal or any of the other great models in the 2011 or 2012 Buick lineup, locals should stop by Briggs Auto, the premiere Buick dealership in Kansas. Their sales team can answer any questions from consumers and even schedule them for a test drive. When it comes to Buick new and used, Briggs Auto is the place to shop in Kansas.
