Just as the new Mazda CX-5 was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the professional team down the road at John Hine Temecula Mazda was preparing to receive its own version of the innovative Mazda CX-5 in Temecula, CA.

The 2013 Mazda CX-5 is set to hit the dealership early next year, complete with the brand new 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G engine. The new motor on the compact SUV, which uses Mazda’s innovative Skyactiv technology, will be able to pump out 155 horsepower while still getting 26 miles per gallon city and 33 miles per gallon highway.

In addition to the engine itself, the Skyactiv technology on the new CX-5 gives it a new-wave transmission and suspension which further improves drivability. The CX-5 will be offered with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Considering the many new features offered with the Skyactiv technology, there is something here for everyone.

“The 2013 CX-5 is the vehicle compact SUV shoppers have been asking for – that only Mazda can build,” said Jim O’Sullivan, president and CEO of Mazda North American Operations.
From its unveiling this month at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the compact SUV will make the short drive to Temecula Mazda when it is released – ensuring the availability of the Mazda CX-5 in Temecula, CA.
