Ottawa, ON. (PRWEB) November 19, 2011
Union and Association software provider, LabourWare, is very pleased to announce Local 145 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) as their latest client. The 1400-member union, which represents hospital workers at Brampton Civic Hospital, Etobicoke General Hospital and Georgetown Hospital, will enjoy the fully adjustable software options provided in the feature-rich LabourWare.net package.
CUPE Local 145 has opted for a combination of three of LabourWare’s user-friendly applications, which include: MemberWare, union membership and communications software; GrievanceWare, a web-based grievance management application; and WorkerCare, which allows unions to track workers’ compensation claims. Like all of LaboutWare’s clients, they will be able to implement all of their member information into the system, and can improve and continue to make changes as their organization grows and diversifies.
LabourWare prides itself on catering their software to clients’ needs, and making their products as adaptable and accessible as possible:
“If our client sees something that they have that they wished we would have, we make that happen,” says Gabriel Louli, the primary system architect for the company. “That is our strength – our flexibility and willingness to respond to our clients’ needs in a timely manner. Our software is first and foremost easy to learn and use. We can configure a client and have them up and running in less than 30 days”.
LabourWare has a diverse client base that not only includes medium-sized unions like Local 145, but also smaller organizations with as few as 250 members and associations with as many as 12000 members. Whatever its size, LabourWare makes sure to get to know a company first so that they can best understand how their software can be applied. Each database is set up and customized based on the company’s needs, and appropriate onsite training is offered to everyone who will be using the applications.
To compliment their comprehensive training services, LabourWare makes sure that their software isn’t overly complicated and doesn’t take more than a couple of days learn:
“We believe that software should be there to help you and not get in your way,” Gabriel Louli explains. “We go way out of our way to integrate all our software so our clients see a unified look and feel – the software works the same across all modules. Anything you learn while using one module will help you when you go to use another.”
