Chester Community Charter School Continues Thanksgiving Gift Certificate Tradition

More than 600 Chester Community Charter School (CCCS) parents will receive gift certificates, worth $10 each, for the Thanksgiving holiday. The gift certificates can be redeemed toward a Thanksgiving turkey or any other food items at Sam & Sam Meats, a local business in Chester. CCCS, which is Pennsylvania’s largest K-8 charter school, is marking the 12th consecutive year for the Thanksgiving gift certificate program.

Participating parents and children will also have an opportunity to meet Chester C. Turkey, CCCS’s Thanksgiving mascot, who will help distribute the gift certificates to the families.
