Larry Reader, who has served as Duke Manufacturing’s Chief Financial Officer for the past 11 years has announced his intention to formally retire from Duke Manufacturing in 2012. “Larry has done an outstanding job guiding our financial team through a time of significant change and growth. Duke has doubled in size, expanded our manufacturing footprint in Sedalia and St Louis and grown internationally to include sales offices and distribution in the UK and Prague and sales, distribution and manufacturing in Shanghai. We wholeheartedly thank him for his efforts and contributions,” said Jack Hake, CEO.
Scott Graves will step in as Duke’s new CFO. Scott is a St. Louis native who has extensive experience in similar positions with Crane Merchandising and Emerson Electric. In addition to his strong background in finance, Scott has experience with new product development and information systems, as well as considerable exposure to lean processes.
Scott joined Duke in November and will report directly to Dave Marvel, Chief Operating Officer. “We are excited that Scott is joining the Duke Team and we are confident that he will continue Duke’s responsible fiscal policies while integrating best practices for future growth,” said Dave Marvel, COO.
