Gene Juarez Salons & Spas (GJ) has selected Seattle-based (ad) agency, Hey, as its agency of record as it seeks to bolster its roster of creative partners for anticipated growth in 2012! Gene Juarez has traditionally developed all creative and campaign work in-house. However, seeking to hone messaging with a compelling and multi-dimensional campaign focused on the GJ point of difference of experience and expertise, the company decided it was time to bring on the right partner to navigate the ever-changing creative and media landscape. After conducting a review of Seattle-based shops, Hey, was chosen.
Hey, is a relatively new shop, based in Seattle, and founded by two former DDB executives, Chris Lloyd and Eric Gutierrez. Hey, describes itself as “an (ad) agency focused on innovative new media and creative non-traditional approaches that work in tandem with more traditional advertising forms such as print and broadcast.”
