Dosey Doe is a 160 year old tobacco barn from Kentucky which has been transplanted to The Woodlands, Texas. Dosey Doe is pleased celebrate its 5th year anniversary with a sample of the upcoming performances:

Tab Benoit (December 2): Since his debut in 1992, Tab has recorded with Willie Nelson, Billy Joe Shaver, Junior Wells, and James Cotton just to name a few. His rich tones and soulful voice, seeped with traditional songwriting has earned him 3 Grammy nominations. Now, with his latest CD, “Medicine,” climbing fast up the charts, Tab is burning hot!

David Ball (December 6): Since 1988, this country music artist has record 7 studio albums, including his platinum certified debut Thinkin’ Problem. 14 of his singles have made Billboard’s Hot Country charts. David will be featured as part of the Real Life Real Music concert series, where he will spend the evening talking about and playing music with host Kyle Hutton in front of a live audience for this recorded-for-radio event.

Paul Thorn (December 8): “Hook after hook, cut after memorable cut, until it becomes undeniable that listeners are in the hands of a master,” – The Boston Herald. “The real deal comes along very infrequently these days … word of a record this good spreads,” – San Francisco Chronicle. “The best kept secret in the music business,” – Kris Kristofferson.

Mark Chesnutt (December 15): He is one of country’s true musical treasures. Critics have hailed him as a classic country singer of the 1st order and some of country’s most elite entertainers from George Jones to George Strait echo this sentiment. Mark’s stature is easily gauged: 14 No. 1 hits, 23 top ten singles, 4 platinum albums, 5 gold.

Guy Forysth & Carolyn Wonderland Holidays By Candlelight (December 17): Join two Austin icons as they take a brief respite from their normal headlining shows to create a super group for one special night. This hipster holiday show will feature a stocking full of seasonal songs in the styling of blues, folk, country, rock and Big Band sounds.

Deryl Dodd & Drew Womack (December 28): For Deryl, stardom came as a guitar player and backup singer with Martina McBride and then on tour with; Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, and Brooks & Dunn. A life-threatening illness nearly ended his career, but he remerged with a new appreciattion for life with a stronger loyalty to himself and his music. Drew Womack’s stardom has come in the form three Academy of Country Music awards, one Country Music Association award, 2 CMT awards, 5 ASCAP and 2 BMI awards.

Cory Morrow (December 29): His latest offering, Vagrants & Kings, finds Morrow at his strongest – artistically, personally, and spiritually. Morrow’s rustic sound remains part singer/songwriter and poet. It’s equal parts country and rock: accessible, hooky and rowdy in the tradition of outlaws like Waylon & Willie.

Cody Canada & The Departed (December 30): After 15 years with Cross Canadian Ragweed featuring prominently in the Red Dirt country music scene, Cody Canada and Ragweed bassist Jeremy Plato formed The Departed to pay homage to Cody’s musical heritage. “Now it’s a new band… playing new songs.
