To meet the growing needs of specialized security services throughout the U.S. and abroad, New York-based Global Elite Inc., has expanded its offerings by announcing the appointment of three key executives. The strategic appointments will be part of the continued expansion into worldwide markets the company is penetrating for sports and entertainment protection including charter aircraft screenings for celebrities, high profile sporting and entertainment venues, international aviation security audits and compliance, corporate investigations and air cargo protection and movements. The company has named Gary Cerra, as Vice President of Field Services and Business Development; Bryan Davis as Director of Sales and Marketing; and Joseph D’Ascoli as Deputy Director of Special Operations.
Gary Cerra, serving as Vice President of Field Services and Business Development, has over 20-years of airline, airport and government experience. Mr. Cerra was most recently the Director of Corporate Security for North America at Deutsche Lufthansa AG, where his expertise centered on aviation security, regulatory compliance, security audits, corporate investigation and the movement of air cargo for 21 airports in the U.S. and Canada. He possesses a working knowledge of governmental policies and programs for both the domestic and international communities from his tenure with the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Mr. Cerra held positions of Principal Security Inspector, Contract Technical Representative (COTR), Interim Federal Security Representative and Assistant Federal Security Director for two New York airports.
Bryan Davis, Director of Sales and Marketing, is in charge of expanding Global Elite’s event, corporate aviation screening and personal protection programs in the sports and entertainment industries. Bryan will be responsible for guiding sales, marketing and business development in these markets. Davis joins the company with over 15 years of successful executive sales and marketing experience and holds degrees in Business Marketing and Sports Administration. He has managed event operations with the New York Islanders NHL hockey team, the international Hamlet Cup Men’s ATP Tennis Tournament and other large-scale, high visibility event arrangements.
Joseph D’Ascoli, is serving as Deputy Director of Special Operations and comes to Global from a long family history of serving the security industry on a national scale. Joseph has worked throughout the U.S. for his family’s security businesses based in North Carolina. He was actively involved with growing the business in the many markets the company specialized in including telecommunications, electronic security, and personnel protection and privatized police force services. His knowledge of event security, emergency response management and the deployment of security details for crowd management and control, have been a wonderful addition to the growing need for highly skilled police tactics when managing events. D’Ascoli will be working with Global to increase the armed emergency response deployment of these professionals to meet the changing needs of this client base.
