In the award-winning game, “Psychonauts”, a young boy named Raz was gifted with psychic abilities and escaped to a camp where he would hone his powers to help the world. In their new book “Living In The Psychic Realm” (published by Balboa Press), Kay and Jethro E. Smith tells Jethro’s story of how he became a psychic reader beginning as a young eight-year-old boy.
In “Living in the Psychic Realm”, Jethro’s account includes his childhood experiences involving his spiritual growth and his exercises of developing his “sixth sense.” He tells readers of his ability to see auras and energies around people.
“This compelling story of my life events help alleviate the ‘scary’ and ‘unknown’ aspects that are often associated with the word ‘psychic,” Jethro says.
“Living In The Psychic Realm” is a biography concerning Jethro’s metaphysical abilities and physical situations becoming a training ground for his spiritual growth as a young child. It demonstrates the ongoing battle between light and darkness in a sensitive person’s daily affairs.
Excerpt from “Living In The Psychic Realm”:
I could not believe all of the things that my godmother was telling me about the gift. She had been helping me and had become my psychic teacher. She was telling me how blessed I was to be able to speak with and hear my guides and that I would be able to help a lot of people now. She was explaining to me how to utilize my gift to help other people. I was a very excited boy to have an ability that would help other people and it made me feel special and unique. I was learning from my godmother how to use my gift to help others, but I was not yet sure what I was going to do to help others with this.
Smith believes everyone has psychic abilities, and through his journey and experiences aims to help readers in their own daily spiritual journeys and in their spiritual development and learning of their own psychic abilities.
