SongCast is thrilled to announce the addition of Google Music to their online distribution network. Independent artists, bands and labels will benefit from access to the new sales channel and now have the opportunity to distribute their tracks to Google Music.
The Google Music store offers more than 13 million songs from major labels such as Universal Music Group, Sony Music, EMI as well as several independent labels and aggregators, including SongCast. Listeners can purchase individual songs or entire albums right from their computer or Android device and they’ll be added instantly to their Google Music library, and accessible from anywhere.
As an added benefit to current SongCast artists, all clients already utilizing our distribution network will have their tracks added to Google Music very shortly, and with no additional fees. New artists signing up will also be delivered to Google Music at no extra cost.
Mike Wright, founder of SongCast, said of the announcement “SongCast artists need the ability to reach consumers wherever they purchase and listen to music.
