The Dallas Moving Company Supports Area Charities for Thanksgiving

The Dallas Moving Company, All My Sons Moving & Storage will deliver 100 turkeys and the trimmings to feed over a thousand people at four area shelters this Thanksgiving. “We’re continuing our tradition of helping at-risk members of our community this holiday season,” explained Jason Crossen, President of All My Sons Moving & Storage of Dallas.

The Stew Pot, Crossroads Community Services, Safe Haven Homeless Shelter and First Bible Baptist Center will benefit from the Dallas Mover’s benevolence this Thanksgiving. Plans are already underway at these facilities to receive many of Dallas’ homeless and disadvantaged community members. “It’s a joy to aid in warming the hearts and stomachs of so many,” concluded Crossen. The All My Sons distribution will take place beginning Tuesday morning and continue throughout the afternoon.

The Stewpot offers a safe haven for homeless and at-risk individuals of Dallas, providing resources for basic survival needs as well as opportunities to start a new life. Found by First Presbyterian Church in 1975 the Stewpot began serving food when church members realized no other resources were available for the homeless and hungry.

CCS is an urban outreach ministry of First United Methodist Church of Dallas.
