While other companies have scaled back in this tough economic period, Nexus has continued to invest heavily to maintain strong growth. 2011 will be the eighth consecutive record year for Nexus, with revenues over $250 million.

For the second consecutive year, the Los Angeles Business Journal has ranked Nexus on its Fastest Growing Private Companies List, an exclusive ranking of the region’s fastest-growing private companies.

In order to qualify for the list, companies must be headquartered in Los Angeles County and have been established before January 1, 2008. They must be privately-owned and cannot be a subsidiary of another company. Companies must have at least $5 million in revenue for 2010 and are ranked by revenue growth from 2008-2010. Nexus ranked #98 on this year’s list.

”We’re pleased to once again be recognized on the Los Angeles Business Journal’s list,” said Nexus President and COO Waheed Choudhry. “While other companies have scaled back in this tough economic period, we’ve continued to invest heavily to maintain our strong growth. As a result, we’ve expanded at a phenomenal annual compounded revenue growth rate of 23% and an annual compounded net income growth rate of 46%. Earlier this year, we passed the $1 billion mark in total revenue in our 7-plus year history. And 2011 will be the eighth consecutive record year for Nexus with revenues over $250 million.”

Founded in 2004 in Valencia, Nexus continues to have a strong commitment to Los Angeles county. Over one-third of all Nexus employees are based in our Valencia headquarters, and the company often participates in local community days and philanthropies, most recently as a sponsor of the 11th Annual Santa Clarita Make a Difference Day.
