It’s a pleasure to work for a VoIP company that supports and encourages personal and professional growth, which is one of the reasons I’ve been able to achieve so much in my expanding role at the organization.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 21, 2011
Vocalocity, the leading provider of cloud PBX phone service for small business, today announced that Melissa Levine, Manager of Marketing Strategy and Communications, has won the Technology Association of Georgia's (TAG) "Up and Coming Marketer of the Year" Award for achievements that "clearly demonstrate a rising star in Georgia's technology marketing community."
The Technology Marketing Awards were held on November 17th, 2011 and recognized candidates from eight categories for outstanding achievements in the technology marketing community. Melissa's nomination was selected from over 60 entries that represented candidates under 30 years of age who have made demonstrable impacts in their professional career in the tech marketing space. Other finalists at the awards represented Georgia technology companies such as Razorfish, Engauge, PGi, PointClear, IHG, and Navicure.
“I am honored to have been recognized from such a great pool of talent, and I’m proud that my efforts for Vocalocity have been so successful,” said Melissa Levine. “It’s a pleasure to work for a VoIP company that supports and encourages personal and professional growth, which is one of the reasons I’ve been able to achieve so much in my expanding role at the organization.”
Melissa's award was earned due to a combination of her external and internal marketing efforts at Vocalocity - from spearheading the partnership with the Clean Air Campaign that resulted in the VoIP company's formalized teleworking program and subsequent PACE award, to strategizing a more efficient email marketing system, to leading vertical campaigns within the marketing department.
“At Vocalocity, we work hard to hire the very best and then drive each initiative we undertake to a best practice.” said Wain Kellum, CEO of Vocalocity. “Since joining us, Melissa has taken on responsibility and made very meaningful contributions to the company, helping us become the fastest-growing provider of VoIP service for small business. We work hard to develop our team and are proud of the recognition by TAG on Melissa’s professional growth and success.”
