Burnaware Technologies proudly announces the release of its new line of disc burning tools intended for all categories of users – from novices to professionals dealing with disc burning on a daily basis. The product line currently consists of three products: Free, Home and Pro editions. The free version of the program is the core of the line and offers most of its features. Home and Pro editions feature several additional functions that allow users to facilitate certain typical tasks, such as disc-to-disc copying and multi-drive burning.
BurnAware Free is a full-fledged disc burning solution offering a complete set of features necessary for creating CD, DVD and Blu-Ray (BD) discs with data, music and video. The program fully supports the creation of multisession and bootable CDs and DVDs, creation of high-quality Audio CDs from MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG and FLAC music collections, burning of disc images and creation of backup ISO images of any discs.
The data burning capabilities of the program encompass full support of CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, BD-R/RE and DVD-RAM media (including high-capacity double-layer discs) and support of UDF, Bridge and ISO9660 file systems (including Joliet Unicode extensions). BurnAware Free is capable of creating bootable CD and DVD discs using configurable El Torito options: emulation type, sectors, platform type, load segment and boot message.
BurnAware Free is also an efficient tool for ISO image creation and burning, creation of DVD Video, MP3 CD/DVD and Audio CD discs that can be played on any compatible hardware, from home audio systems to car A/V centers.
The paid Home version of BurnAware offers the same functionality as the free edition, but is also capable of quickly creating exact copies of CD, DVD and Blu-Ray BD discs, as well as recovering files from different disc sessions and extracting tracks from Audio CD’s.
The most complete version, BurnAware Pro, includes the features of the Free and Home editions and allows users to burn several discs at once using any number of drives installed in or connected to the system.
“Our initial idea was to create a compact and easy to use tool, a kind of a 'one size fits all' solution for disc burning that would have nearly all the blows and whistles of the most advanced solutions on the market and yet be small and affordable. We ended up segmenting the product and splitting its functionality between three editions, the free one being the most functional. I hope our clients will appreciate our efforts and will like the intuitiveness of the burning process in BurnAware,” says Val Gittes, the Lead Developer of the program.
All BurnAware solutions are compatible with major Windows versions (Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/7 (32 and 64-bit) and do not require the .NET framework to be installed.
