Australian author Marylin Schirmer proudly launches her new book The MAZ Factor: A Gutsy True Story to Change Your Life (published by Balboa Press) in which she shares how she broke free of her 33-year sordid and cursed life to one so blessed after 33 years of struggle. Her rags to riches story is not exactly typical. She injects it with an amazingly triumphant message.
Motivated by her desire to help the downtrodden find happiness and fulfillment in their lives, Marylin uses her life to show just how possible a complete transformation is. Unemployed as a waitress, raising four children as a scared mother, single mother and living in emergency housing, Marylin lifted herself up to become a powerful corporate executive and a role model that other women could look up to.
She experienced a horrid childhood, suffered generational child sexual abuse, was bashed, raped at gunpoint, lived in women’s shelters and in hiding and had her life threatened many times. At her lowest point in life, she was able to break the cycle of doom and misery.
Marylin says, “Women are magnificent and powerful but most don’t know it. They can be their own worst enemy due to their lack of self-value, but with a little guidance and imagination, can improve their lives and level of success easily and effortlessly.”
From living on the system with no support, self-esteem or confidence to : helping women across the world and having independent financial control, travelling the world and living the dream, Schirmer’s life will inspire readers to transform their lives and recreate their destiny.
