Attendees will be treated to light refreshments while Ms. Pizzolato discusses the top ten estate planning mistakes most people make and how to avoid them; key aspects of estate planning; and the new Florida Power of Attorney Law that took effect on October 1, 2011.

The law office of Barbara M. Pizzolato, P.A. offers free estate planning seminars on a monthly basis in order to assist southwest Florida residents in evaluating the current status of their estates and educating them to the advantages of implementing and maintaining an estate plan.

“During the seminars, I discuss a number of realistic scenarios that have resulted from poor estate planning or no estate planning and explain how those situations could have been avoided,” says Pizzolato. “Over the past 24 years of practicing law, I’ve learned that many people are intimidated by the prospect of discussing their situation with an attorney, and these events are a way for me to help alleviate their concerns and help them find answers to their most pressing questions.”

The dates and locations of the December 2011 seminars are:
