Makers of popular chat social network Wireclub.com unveil real-time engagement analytics service for mobile apps and websites, invite beta testers worldwide.

Canadian-owned Wireclub Media Inc. unveiled today a real-time analytics service for mobile apps and websites based on the same technology used by its flagship chat room service Wireclub.com.

The new service dubbed INSIGHT allows customers to track and analyze user behaviors in real-time. “It is a tool for measuring participation instead of pageviews” explains Rod Furlan, Wireclub’s co-founder.

“Wireclub.com is experiencing rapid growth in several key markets largely due to our ability to analyze engagement patterns and quickly adapt the service to maximize user satisfaction“ elaborates Furlan.

The INSIGHT service is based on a proprietary complex event processing (CEP) platform designed to handle a very large volume of events with minimum latency. According to Furlan, Wireclub.com alone generates over 100 million events daily across multiple demographic channels which are collected and aggregated with negligible impact on performance.

Unlike the competing solutions provided by Google Analytics, Mixpanel and Kissmetric, the INSIGHT service emphasizes the use of behind-the-scenes data mining for automated insight generation. “Extracting insights from data can be hard because not everyone has a statistician on their team. That is why we also provide a robust set of automated statistical analysis tools to help our customers translate social engagement data into actionable insights” says Furlan.

The INSIGHT platform constantly analyzes collected events in order to find salient relationships and trends. “INSIGHT customers are able to quickly identify which actions ultimately lead to user retention or revenue generation even if they do not have a resident data scientist” explains Furlan.

INSIGHT will be made available to a few select partners immediately and it will be available to everyone else in early 2012.
