Newest Experience Recreates Authentic Working TV Studio with Camera, Teleprompter and News Desk Set Against New York City Skyline

B&H Photo is energized about the launch of the B&H TV Studio exhibit at Madame Tussauds

Giving aspiring newscasters the chance to experience life behind the news anchor desk, Madame Tussauds New York (234 West 42nd St.)—in partnership with photo, audio, video and broadcast-equipment retailer B&H—unveiled today the new B&H TV Studio inside the attraction. The Studio is a fully immersive and interactive experience, offering guests the opportunity to step inside the shoes of a news anchor to record their own newscasts, as wax figures of award-winning journalists like Anderson Cooper, Oprah Winfrey and Barbara Walters look on.

“We are excited to be working with B&H on this project, and know that our guests will love the interactive B&H TV Studio experience,” stated Bret Pidgeon, General Manager of Madame Tussauds New York.

The B&H TV Studio at Madame Tussauds New York is an authentic, working TV studio featuring a real studio camera, teleprompter, camera controls and news desk—set against a backdrop of the New York City skyline. Guests have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a television studio, from controlling camera movements to recording their own newscasts. Taking on the role of their favorite reporters, guests will be able to sit behind the news desk and read a selection of stories (or create their own) from a teleprompter. Guests opting to record their news broadcast will receive a link to download the video, so that it can be uploaded to YouTube and/or Facebook to be shared with friends and family. MTNY/B&H TV

All of the equipment for the studio was provided by B&H. The installation and configuration of the equipment in the “B&H TV Studio” was handled by Project Managers from the B&H Professional Solutions Department.
