Nation’s leading Verizon Wireless retailer now offers TechProtect for wireless device replacement

The nation’s leading Verizon Wireless retailer, Cellular Sales, announces TechProtect, a new comprehensive protection plan for cellphones and other wireless devices. TechProtect is now available in Cellular Sales’ nearly 500 locations across the U.S.

“As the leading Verizon Wireless service retailer we want to take care of our customers and that means providing an outstanding protection service for their cellphones,” said JT Thome, chief operating officer of Cellular Sales. “Cellphones, and now tablets, are critical in our day-to-day lives. We just can’t afford to be without our wireless devices, no matter what happens.”

Cellular Sales’ protection and replacement program, TechProtect, will offer customizable options of monthly insurance plans, new equipment replacement and over-the-counter or direct mail phone replacement. Current Cellular Sales customers will have the option of adding the protection service on new cellular devices within 14 days of purchase.

TechProtect is made possible through a partnership with eSecuritel, a Brightstar subsidiary providing wireless carriers, dealers and retailers with cellphone and wireless device protection.
According to Thome, the company wanted its TechProtect program to be convenient and simple. TechProtect customers who suffer the loss of a device to theft or damage have the option to pick up a brand new replacement at any Cellular Sales location across the country as well as the industry-standard option of direct mail replacement.

“We believe the TechProtect program will put our customers’ minds at ease and give them one more reason to get connected through Cellular Sales,” he said.
