This is the most significant change in IntelliTrack software in the last 18 years

Cloud computing provides user access to data storage, applications software and/or other technology services through shared configurable resources. This saves the user organization from having to invest, acquire, manage, and maintain its own computing resources in their office. Having data and business computing software running online rather than on office computers means staff can easily access them any time and any where there is Internet access – and from any device.
Web-based software availability adds up to less expense for the user organization, as cloud computing is typically less expensive than traditional methods. Traditionally, user organizations purchase software and install it on their company computers which involve installation time and utilizing space on their office servers. When it is time to update the software, updates are purchased and then installed, on each and every computer in the company. Troubleshooting often requires the user organization to call the manufacturer, resulting in down time for the employees and lost profit. With cloud computing, issues can be quickly addressed and problems solved by the company managing the cloud software. Additionally, since staff can access the software any time or place where there is Internet access, the company can offer more telecommuting to staff and less office space and overhead costs.
Cloud computing also provides scalability, allowing user organizations to easily scale their software accessibility needs quickly, such as adding or decreasing the amount of users as the business requires.
Access to online software is also faster and a more efficient way of managing the time and resources of the user organization.
IntelliTrack’s customers will be able to leverage their STRATUS software products (Inventory, WMS, Fixed Assets, ISRP and Check-in/Check-out) to deploy and manage workloads on the STRATUS cloud for faster cloud deployment and comprehensive automation. This latest announcement is another milestone illustrating IntelliTrack’s continued commitment to customers in need of barcode, RFID, batch, and Wi-Fi (RF) data collection solutions.
