Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) November 28, 2011
In the wake of Small Business Saturday by American Express, a new 12-City Small Business Thrivability Tour will arrive in U.S. cities beginning in February, 2012.
Small businesses employ about 70% of the workforce; generate more than 50% of the US GDP and the US small business engine is bigger than the GDP of China. So, with small improvements to small business, massive changes can be made to the US economy.
During the educational tour, small businesses owners will learn from experts about the new era of technologies and techniques that are now available to run a thriving small business in today’s economy. The comprehensive set of topics will include proactive financial management, secure and affordable technologies (particularly technologies in the Cloud) along with innovative marketing and sales engines. Together, owners can become more effective at running their small business.
Led by Corelytics, Inc. the tour connects Corelytics, Intuit, Microsoft and other companies that serve small businesses. U.S. Chamber of Commerce chapters and local Small Business Development Centers have a role in much of the local presence of tour.
“Small Business Saturday is just the beginning of small businesses owners taking charge and nurturing the US economy back to health using technologies and techniques that are readily available to them. Thousands of small businesses are recognizing that now is the time to manage their business differently,” said Executive Vice President Tony Lael of Corelytics.
“It is the perfect storm. The economy needs a boost and technology is more accessible for small business owners than never before. Now is the time to thrive,” Lael added.
Seattle/Bellevue, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Boston, Philadelphia, New York and Chicago.
