Six Red Marbles’ online interactive programs Waza®, a multisensory math readiness adventure, and Cabanga®, a celebrity agent role-playing game for middle school math, have each won the EdTech Digest Cool Tool Award for Academic Gaming Solution. Both programs, as well as Six Red Marbles’ Juba®, a whole-brain learning exploration for kids, were named finalists for the New Product or Service Cool Tool Award.
This is the latest in a string of honors awarded to Six Red Marbles’ entire suite of programs this year. Each program has won an Education Software Review Award (EDDIE), a Best Educational Software Award (BESSIE), a Tillywig Brain Child Award, a National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, and a Mom’s Choice Gold Award. In addition, Juba and Waza were named CODiE finalists by the Software & Information Industry Association, and Cabanga was an SIIA Innovation Incubator Finalist.
Each year EdTech Digest recognizes leaders in education for outstanding transformational contributions in education through technology, enriching the lives of learners everywhere. Judges looked for innovative and trendsetting cool tools, moving education forward into the 21st century.
