TrakSoft LLC announced the release of Contract Analyst, version 4.7, a solid, proven, and reliable Contract Management System that includes many new user enhancements and internal performance enhancements. Users will now be able to simply add new fields, screens, windows, and custom lookup types in three simple steps. In addition, a new Small Business Version is now available for those small entities that don’t need the enterprise-level application.

TrakSoft LLC, a 21-year professional software development firm, announced the release of Contract Analyst, version 4.7, an innovative and full-featured Contract Management System with many new enhancements.

“This new version contains 17 user enhancements and several internal performance enhancements,” said Gary Harris, Director and Chief Developer. “The most noticeable enhancement is that we have made user customization even simpler. You can add new fields and new screens and windows quickly in three simple steps.”

Adding new fields, screens, and windows is now much easier to accomplish in Contract Analyst, each of which is a simple three-step process. To add a new field, step one: add the field to the database table; step two: click a button in Contract Analyst to bring the new field into the screen; and step three: set the properties and move the field to the location on the screen where you want it. Adding new screens and windows is just as easy; in step one you add a new table to the database; step two: tell Contract Analyst the name of the new table and it will automatically build the screen or window for you; and step three: set the field properties and move the fields on the new screen to where you want them.

“Contract Analyst uses drop down list fields throughout the application to increase data integrity,” said Kimberly Phillips, Owner of Data Radiance. “With this new release you can now add your own custom drop down list fields easily to the system. You can also add a new management window that you can assign to records within the system.”

TrakSoft LLC continues to provide extremely useful and intuitive product enhancements for Contract Analyst. One recent addition included adding the capability to set multiple conditions for e-mail alerts. This allows users to set very specific conditions for e-mail alerts. For example, an alert can be set for when an expiration date is within 30 days, the contract type is a service contract, and the contract amount is within $200,000 of its budgeted amount. The e-mail alert would not be sent until all three conditions are met. Other recent enhancements included the ability to store attached documents directly in the database as well as on a network file server and enhancing the report filtering capability of the built in ad hoc report writer.

“The user customization capabilities in Contract Analyst are very powerful,” said Paul Gronka, Lead Developer. “Two additional features include the ability to move a screen or window from one module to another and set the security level properties of a screen limiting its access to users having a specific access level.”

With this release a new version type of Contract Analyst is now available. TrakSoft LLC has added the new Small Business Version. This new version is for small entities that don’t need an unlimited user license that comes with the Enterprise version. It is limited to five users and is competitively priced. TrakSoft LLC has also announced that it will be having an end-of-year sale in December. The sale will provide a substantial discount along with an additional six months of product support. Contract Analyst already comes with a full year of product support when purchased.

“Contract Analyst is one of the most flexible, comprehensive, and innovative systems on the market,” said Gary Harris, Director and Chief Developer. “We often brag that you don’t need to change your processes to use Contract Analyst. You simply change Contract Analyst to work with your processes.”

There are many benefits to using Contract Analyst. Organizations can quickly get and maintain control of all their contracts; simplify and streamline contract management processes; identify and reduce contract management risks; improve the accuracy of contract management information and reporting; never miss an important contract date, deadline, or milestone; and many more.
