SmartSportsFan.com is pleased to announce its first product release, the NHL Stats Machine. A free website that allows hockey enthusiasts to compare statistics on interactive charts.
This product release was driven by the increasing popularity of fantasy sports and online sports betting in combination with the lack of tools available to analyze sports statistics. SmartSportsFan's NHL Stats Machine fills this need by bringing the depth and flexibility of financial stock charts to the sports industry.
Longtime sports fans and statistics addicts, Mike Gross and Luke Rossy created SmartSportsFan with a clear mission - remove the complexity from sports data analysis and bring it to the masses. The NHL Stats Machine is the first step in realizing this vision - it provides users with an easy-to-use interface to slice and dice complex hockey statistics and, as a result, anyone can easily determine that Alex Ovechkin is -4 against western conference teams over the last four seasons.
In its current release, v1.0, users can compare players across all statistical categories. In the soon to be released version v1.1, users will be able to compare teams across all categories.
