MorganFranklin Corporation, a business and technology consulting firm that delivers financial management, performance improvement, and national security solutions to industry and government clients, announced the recent appointment of Andrew Kemp as Managing Director at MorganFranklin Limited, the company’s UK subsidiary. In this role, Kemp is responsible for driving continuous business improvement and finance transformation solutions for international clients in MorganFranklin’s Financial Management and Performance Improvement business unit. He possesses more than 25 years of professional experience in financial reporting, planning, treasury, corporate finance, and systems implementations. Kemp’s areas of expertise include finance transformation, outsourcing, risk management, business process improvement, and strategy implementation.

Prior to joining MorganFranklin Limited, Kemp served in a variety of senior positions over the course of his 14-year career with BT, plc. Most recently, he served as group controller of the global telecommunications services company, and was responsible for overseeing the group’s financial control framework and membership of its risk management committee. Kemp also managed the finance systems estate, driving the ongoing transformation of the finance team through the exploitation of its shared service center (SSC) strategy and technology deployment.
During his tenure with BT, Kemp also served as group director of Reporting, Planning & Analysis, as well as finance director of BT Wholesale. Previously, he served for more than six years at Hammerson plc, where he was responsible for strengthening the company’s treasury and tax accounting capability. He also served as management accountant at Air Europe.
Kemp speaks regularly at professional conferences as an authority on finance transformation, working capital best practices, and the role of outsourcing in finance. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Institute of Directors (IoD).
