Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) November 29, 2011
AloStar Bank of Commerce (AloStar), a newly formed bank serving depositors, community banks and businesses across the U.S., has gone live with SunGard’s Stream InTrader ASP and Web Portal solutions. The implementation is helping the bank automate manual processes, centralize reporting and support business growth.
AloStar is using Stream InTrader on an ASP basis for bond accounting, trading, correspondent processing and safekeeping. In addition, the bank’s clients can access their investment portfolios and safekeeping statements and documents via a white-labeled version of Stream InTrader Web Portal.
Dustin Peeler, vice president of investment operations, AloStar, said, “We selected SunGard’s Stream InTrader because it is a stable processing platform that can grow with our business. It provides the scalability and reliability we need while helping to reduce redundant activities and automate critical operations.”
John Grimaldi, executive vice president of SunGard’s North American securities operations and securities finance business, said, “Financial institutions are looking to streamline their operations and control costs. Stream InTrader is helping AloStar achieve those goals while providing the scalable technology they need to support their business strategy.”
AloStar Bank of Commerce (http://www.AlostarBank.com) is focused on serving three clients who are each critical to our nation’s economy: a core base of depositors who interact with the bank largely through its online banking platform; leading community banks who benefit from a suite of correspondent services; and businesses with $20 million to $300 million in revenue who need a variety of commercial lending products.
