Easily Schedule Email and Text Message Reminders with Cronote’s New Website

Share Article

Cronote has opened its new website for public beta testing (http://www.cronote.com). Individuals can use the website to schedule email and text message reminders. Businesses can use the website to create Remind Buttons. A Remind Button increases Internet sales and improves a website's conversion rate by allowing visitors to schedule reminders about online products.

Cronote Beta Website

Cronote's new website allows users to save contacts and create Remind Buttons.

Reminders work well for personal and business appointments, new and upcoming products, and sales events.

Cronote is a service for creating reminders that are sent via cell phone text message or email. A Cronote reminder is a 100-character message sent via email or text message, delivered at a specified time. It is a cost-effective, novel way for individuals to send reminders and for businesses to advertise on the Internet. Reminders work well for personal and business appointments, new and upcoming products, and sales events.

Overview of New Features

The open beta is available for sign up for free at http://www.cronote.com.

The website includes new features in response to user feedback, including:

1.    Send reminders to ANY cell phone number on ANY United States carrier
2.    Send reminders via SMS, email or both
3.    Create and manage Remind Buttons to advertise your website
4.    Track and delete reminders
5.    Send reminders to multiple people
6.    Organize contacts into groups for easy ‘mailing-list’ functionality
7.    Support for Secure Sockets Layer (SSL/HTTPS) connections

Reminder Pricing

Email reminders are free, and text message reminders are just $0.05 per message. Reminders can be purchased in packs of 50 ($1.00), 250 ($5.00) or 500 ($10.00). Large volume orders may be arranged upon request.

The Remind Button

The Cronote ‘Remind’ button provides a novel advertising tool for businesses looking to improve product launches and sales. Businesses can create and customize a Remind button on the Cronote website.

The button can be placed on any website next to information about an upcoming product or event. Businesses can customize each button:

  •     Choose from six button styles or use a personalized image.
  •     Create a message, such as “Product X is available tomorrow at 8 am.”
  •     Specify the best time for the reminder to be sent, such as 24 hours before the start of the event.

Businesses can monitor the use of each Remind button. There is no limit to the number of Remind buttons created.

The button allows website visitors to easily schedule a reminder about the business and its product(s), encouraging them to return at a later time when they are more likely to make a purchase. Remind buttons work for advertising new and upcoming product pages, existing product landing pages, business homepages, and sales event pages.

Remind buttons increase website sales and conversion rates. The temporal nature of a Cronote reminder increases the likelihood that a consumer will make a purchase.

SMS text messages are effective because they are read more often than other types of advertising media. Mailing lists are not ideal for product and event reminders because mass emails are often filtered as spam.

With the new beta website, Cronote is providing businesses and individuals the ability to create and monitor their own Remind Buttons.

Sign up is available at http://www.cronote.com. All registrants receive 10 free SMS Cronotes to try out the service.
